No, in the majority of cases, you do not need a doctor referral to be seen. Wisconsin is a direct access state meaning physical therapists can see a patient without doctor referral.
We are not currently billing insurance. However, we provide receipts that contain all of the information insurances require for submission to cover out-of-network physical therapy services. Therefore, we have had clients that have submitted our receipts to their insurances and they have received reimbursement for our services. Of course, every insurance is different and out-of-network coverages vary depending on your specific plan.
We do not see Medicare patients for physical therapy or occupational therapy at this time as we are not currently a Medicare provider.
We charge $60 to come to your home for a 30-minute visit, $90 for a 45-minute visit, or $120 for an hour-long session.
Another way to think of it, is we charge $30 per 15 minutes of treatment. That’s a quarter of the average cost of what outpatient therapy clinics charge.
The above costs are assuming you are located within 20 minutes of our headquarters at 4535 N. Habitat Way, Appleton, WI, 54913. If you are located outside that area and it would take 21-30 minutes to travel to you, a $20 travel fee is added on, but in many cases, this can be waived.
If you live further than 30 minutes outside the area, we can still probably see you, but you would need to contact us to determine what the fee would be for travel.
We have very low overhead. By traveling to see you, we don’t have to pay the costs of owning or renting a building and we don’t need any accessory staff/employees.
We see patients Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. However, we will sometimes see patients outside of these hours and even on the weekends in order to help people be seen.

We treat all common musculoskeletal disorders (MSD's) and injuries. Here is a list of some of the more common conditions we treat, but we also treat many more!
Physical therapy and occupational therapy are very much alike in that they focus on improving a patient's function and/or decreasing a patient's pain. The similarities and differences depend on the area of practice and the population being treated.
In the area we focus on (orthopedic treatment of musculoskeletal conditions), occupational therapy tends to focus on the arms (the upper extremities) and usually more the hand, wrist, & elbow. Physical therapy tends to focus on the rest of the body but doesn't necessarily exclude the arms. Given our specialties in both physical therapy and occupational therapy, you can be confident we can address any musculoskeletal condition of the body, head-to-toe.
