Your physical therapist will provide you with any necessary exercises to help reduce your pain and restore your flexibility and strength, usually in combination with any hands-on manual therapy techniques that are required to help you overcome your injury or condition.

Therapeutic exercise is easily provided in your own home as your physical therapist will bring any necessary weights, resistance bands, or other equipment to be used for improving your flexibility and strength.

You will also be provided with a home-exercise program that will help you to continue work on flexibility, strengthening, improving balance, and other things that will help you to overcome your injury. Handouts or other tools are used to help you to remember your home exercise program.
